FAQ

Is the Webgvr service really free?

Yes! As long as your request serves the needs of a not-for-profit cause, organization or person that is out there doing kind, honest work to serve others, the time and energy spent on building your site does not cost any money.

What happens after Webgivr creates the site?

Once your website is created and delivered, it will be turned over to you and/or your organization to update, maintain, edit as you see fit. At this time, Webgivr is unable to offer ongoing site maintenance or frequent updates.

Note: Webgivr is certainly available for any follow up questions you may have and I am happy to help you learn what you need to do to edit/add to your site to keep it current. Webgivr is also available for ocassional site updates upon request.

How do I submit a request for Webgivr's services?

Go to the contact page and submit the form provided. From there, Webgivr will contact you via the email you submitted for additional information. Please note: once your request is submitted, be on the lookout for a reply to ensure it is not sitting in your junk folder. If you have trouble submitting the form, you may email your request directly to: webgivr@gmail.com.

Can Webgivr update my current website?

Webgivr designs websites using the free builder available via Wix.com. If your current site is not a "Wix" site, Webgivr will recommend and request the creation of a new site via Wix.com.

How Webgivr Was Born

Webgivr was born from a love for animals. After creating a business website for my spouse as a gift, we sent out a link to our network to get feedback. In one of our responses, I connected with a friend that spends a lot of her time and money helping homeless, feral and abandoned cats get the care and attention they need. She mentioned a feline rescue organization that would benefit from a website and asked if I was interested in helping. I had so much fun creating the first website for my spouse that I promptly said yes and created the Webgivr site in hopes that I can serve more organizations in need!
